Newspaper treasure hunt!

In the UK there are two types of newspapers: tabloids and broadsheets. The main difference between them is that broadsheets are focused on serious journalism and tabloids are focused on sensationalist journalism. They can be presented in various sizes: Broadsheets are longer than tabloids (these are half the size).

The Guardian is a serious newspaper that was founded in Manchester in 1821 by textile traders and merchants. It includes weekly supplements such as feature articles, columns, television and radio listings, and the quick crossword. and it costs 90 pence.

The Sun is a tabloid which presents yellow journalism and it was first published on 15th September 1964. It got its name from the Student newspaper the SUN (Student University News). It is a tabloid full of controversy because of its offensive content.
